Seniors Support Group whose mission is to increase the health and quality of community life for seniors living in Haysboro and the surrounding communities by supporting initiatives that allow seniors to live independently, with dignity.

Pre-school

Haysboro Preschool is a parent run program for three and four year-olds. Our room is bright and cheerful, while our teachers are university trained (B.Ed), experienced and loving. Click here for more information.


Discover Callanetics

Canadian Callanetics takes the grace and fluidity of Ballet and the mind/body synergy of Yoga and has combined them into a revolutionary exercise program that tones and reshapes the body. Callanetics exercises improve poise, balance and body awareness. It consists of small, delicate, fluid movements which do not jar, stress or strain joints.  When preformed correctly, seemingly easy and simple techniques have amazing results. Movements that were difficult or uncomfortable become fluid and graceful, and actually feel good — making you want to move all the more. For a larger percentage of women/men who weight train but don’t dance, Callanetics moves can fit right in.  They make an ideal Cross-training choice that provides toning benefits. Callanetics is good training for making your body more intelligent overall.  This new intelligence make injury less likely and aging gracefully a sure thing.

Stretch & Strength

In general the average person loses 40 percent of their muscle mass by 65. Regular resistance exercises can increase strength to carry out daily tasks. Stronger muscles can also reduce the stress on joints if you have arthritis.

Tái Chi

Tai Chi is a series of slow, flowing movements. The short form is being offered and is easily learned and performed by anyone regardless of age or physical condition. Tai Chi gently stretches and tones the whole body, relaxes and calgms the mind.
