Seniors Resource Group

We Meet:

Fourth Thursday of the Month

at the Community Centre

1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

At each meeting we have a short business meeting, followed by a speaker, who give a short, informative talk of interest to Seniors, followed by a short social with tea, coffee and cookies.

The Haysboro Seniors Resource Group is all about enabling seniors to stay in their communities....

Our 2008/2009 project is:

Celebrating 50 Years of Haysboro

The History Book Committee is collecting information on Haysboro and our current and former residents. This book will contain a family history section along with facts about the growth and changing demographics as we look back over the last half century. This is your opportunity to be included. You are part of our history whether you have lived here for five years or fifty years, and the book would not be complete without your story and photographs. We encourage you to write or type your story in your own words, but if you are uncomfortable doing that, we are prepared to help you. Stories are due by May 31, 2008. Although we reserve the right to edit, we will make every effort to keep it as close to your submission as possible.
